2020 Josie Rosé

We chose these grapes specifically for rosé, and rosé only. 100% Sangiovese, all from Kiona vineyard on Red Mountain. The grapes were on the skins for about 6 hours and left this wine with a beautiful pale pink color. The bright acidity means this wine naturally pairs beautifully with food, and because we left it off dry, it’s perfect with anything spicy!

Josie was created, and named after, one of our wine club members' daughters. When Josie was 2 years old, she made a painting for Cindy and gave it to her at the winery. Cindy told her it was lovely, and she would make it into a wine label. Since she was a little girl and loved pink, of course Cindy told her it would be a pink wine.
